Josh Christian
New Board Member | Techie | Dad Extraordinaire

Josh Christian comes across with enthusiasm, a joy of life, and a true ability to connect people (as validated by his results from the online Personality Lingo Profile). Close runners-up in his personality traits (in order of leanings) are: thinker; mover; and planner.
Born in Florida and raised in Amarillo, Texas until age 8, Josh made his presence known until age 15 in Dallas, Texas before moving to Thornton, Colorado, where he graduated from high school, entering the new millennium in style. He has since lived in Denver and Colorado Springs.
As a former financial and marketing IT consultant in software sales, working with corporations prompted Josh to want to use teachable moments. The field of therapy met that desire. He also wanted to problem-solve and make paths easier for children. He has three young boys of his own.
If he had a day off, Josh would snowboard, since he hasn’t been able to be ‘carefree’ since his first-born arrived in 2012. What he himself misses most from his days as a child is free time! When he does have a free hour or two, he is building a dining room table out of 300-year-old wood.
When asked what he would like to learn, Josh quickly responded: “Explosives, because they are awesome!”
Josh’s enthusiasm for his profession, his love of his children and family, and his eagerness to embrace all that life has to offer can’t help but put a smile on your face when in his company.
Welcome, Josh, to the COAFCC Board of Directors!

What is it Good For?
Absolutely EVERYTHING!
Fran Fontana, JD
Regardless of your discipline, whether you are an attorney, mental health professional, mediator, or judicial officer - professionalism is essential to a successful and satisfying career. Yet, there is a tremendous decline in professionalism across those disciplines, especially with those that are dealing with families in the legal process.
What is professionalism? It is made up of integrity, honesty, respectful behavior, tolerance, and patience. This is not intended to be a formal definition but instead a list of attributes that if embraced, will make for a more professional environment, and dare say, a better process for families.
