WSROC has achieved a lot in the past 12 months.

Even in a year of significant uncertainty for local government, WSROC and its councils have managed to deliver outstanding results for the region in the form of major infrastructure projects, cost savings and shared services, research, policy development and advocacy, as well as grass-roots community engagement programs.

WSROC’s 2015-16 Annual Report (now available) provides a fantastic snapshot of the year that was, including:

These projects represent a significant level of collaboration from our members and partners, and how what can be achieved when councils work together for the betterment of the Western Sydney region.

From investment in energy-saving technologies, to the region’s first strategic approach to waste planning and management, the benefits of these programs will be felt for many years to come.
