Featured Artist: Joan Ballard

Joan Ballard is a visual artist working in the Triangle. She works in a variety of mediums including, acrylics, watercolors, and oil pastels, as well as photography. From landscapes to flowers, abstract to graphic design, Joan says, "My work is always shifting to reflect my mood."
"Art saved me from myself," says Joan of her love of her work. "My goal as an artist is simple: to move people. To cause a shift of recognition in their soul, so that they know they are not alone."

You can see Joan's work at her upcoming show "The Artist Round Up" at the Roundabout Art Collective on Saturday, October 15, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm.
