Join us for a webinar featuring how to create meaningful and inclusive arts experiences for students who are blind or low vision. Alice Zincone, art teacher at Governor Morehead School for the Blind in Raleigh, will present ideas for lessons and projects, as well as materials and adaptations. Brandon Cordrey, director of exhibitions at VAE Raleigh, will provide strategies that visual arts organizations and museums can use when hosting field trips for students with low vision.

 

The Paul Taylor Dance Company will perform on Friday, July 29 and Saturday, July 30, and Arts Access will be providing audio description by request for Saturday July 30th.  We ask that you make your request by July 16th. Please contact the ticket center to buy tickets and request Audio Description.

On June 29, Arts Access presented to the American Dance Festival staff and interns. This opportunity allowed us to share information about ADA accomodations and  work that dance organizations around the country are doing towards inclusivity.
