The Staff and Board of Arts Access are thrilled to announce that Arts Access has been awarded a three-year grant to implement the Wake Arts Inclusion Project (WAIP)!
The Wake Arts Inclusion Project (WAIP) is an effort to increase the ability of Wake County arts educators and community cultural programs to successfully include school age children and youth with disabilities in classrooms and community offerings. CARY - Cancer survivors and their caregivers are invited to participate in free social dance classes. Classes are open to singles and couples – spouses and significant others are invited to learn with the survivor. No prior dance experience is needed. RALEIGH - Create a masterpiece using a variety of materials and textures with Sertoma Staff. Whether you like to make a mess or keep it clean and tidy, you’ll find an art activity to enjoy. This program is a FREE drop-in format, so just join in as you arrive!
Sensory Friendly Saturdays will provide an accepting and inclusive environment, modifications to sound and lighting, noise canceling headsets, and a quiet room. All ages and all abilities welcome!.

RALEIGH - This concert experience is designed to be welcoming to all families—including children and adults with autism or other sensory sensitivities.
