Call for Club Histories

As we celebrate 50 years of amateur orienteering in the USA in 2016, long-time member Sara Mae Berman will put together a club retrospective to be shown at this year’s North American Orienteering Championships.  Please have a representative of your club contact Sara Mae so you can share your information and history. You can email her at saramaeb@verizon.net. We need to document our history before we start to forget how we got to where we are.

Upcoming Webinar: Mapping & Pictometry

Aerial Image - Do you know where?Through OUSA, members have access to aerial imagery from Pictometry, one of the largest collections of high-resolution, leaf-off georeferenced images covering much of the US.

This year, a new (simplified) pricing scheme has been introduced in addition to new features. A webinar will be announced soon discussing this and related topics to help all clubs improve their basemapping abilities.

To get on the webinar list or to learn how Pictometry access can benefit your mapping projects, contact VP/Clubs Greg Lennon.
