This is the one morning out of the whole school year that we formally thank our teachers and staff with a celebration breakfast. We not only need help with serving, but we also need help pre-cooking some items like french toast casseroles, quiches and bacon. The ingredients will be provided. Register now for the OPEF Mosaic Mural Base Camp this summer! The Oak Park Education Foundation is teaming up with Julian Middle School and renowned mosaic muralist Tracy VanDuinen to create a design honoring Percy Julian, scientist, civil rights activist and Oak Park resident. And, purchase a mosaic tile here by May 25 to still be a part of this wonderful tribute.
DIVCO Presents, Identity, Intersectionality and Equity, an Interactive Workshop on Tuesday, April 24. This interactive workshop will provide parents/guardians/caretakers with common language and frameworks in identity development and intersectionality which in turn can be applied to our D97 schools.
