The 8th Grade Party is Fast Approaching on May 12, and We Need Your Help! The dance committee is working hard to plan a fun, memorable event for our 8th grade students. It is a student-led event, the theme is Glow Party, and the decorations will be unique to this 8th grade class.
The format is still the same: dance/dj, photo booth, refreshments, balloon drop, cake walk and carnival games as in previous years.
The dress code is 'semi-formal recommended', and students will be able to dress up as much as they want. If they aren't wearing white or neon, there are many ways to accessorize to take advantage of the black light effects.
Parents of 8th graders: even if your child has forbidden you from helping during the dance, please consider helping with decorations and donations.
Parents of 6th and 7th graders: pay it forward by helping out during the dance this year. Many of the partygoers have forbidden their parents from helping out during the party, so you are very much needed.
Please sign up here to make this event a success for our out going 8th grade class. Tickets will be on sale during 8th grade lunch May 9, 10 and 11 and are $10 in advance and $15 at the door.
