William Schaffner, MDWilliam Schaffner, MD, NFID Medical Director and liaison to the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), will discuss updates from the June 2016 ACIP meeting, including updated recommendations for adult vaccination and discussion around votes taken regarding influenza, meningococcal, and cholera vaccines.  

At the conclusion of the webinar, participants will be able to:
  • Describe current ACIP recommendations for adult immunization
  • Explain how recent changes to guidelines will impact vaccination programs
  • Discuss information on new and/or future vaccines for potential use in practice
