The Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses programme delivered by UCL (University College London) helps small businesses and social enterprises in London achieve business growth through business education and hands-on support.
It is fully-funded and 92% of participants report more confidence in how to grow their business with many saying it presents immediate opportunities.

 FSB: Accessing Finance and Pensions Networking Event

The Federation of Small Businesses are hosting a networking event on the 3rd September to assist businesses in two areas that can and will impact on their bottom line: 
  • Ray Wells from the National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers will discuss how micro and small firms can access finance in these difficult times.
  • Paul Davies, of FSB Independent Financial Services, will discuss the ticking time bomb of automatic enrolment into Pensions schemes.
Food and drink will be provided. This event is open to all FSB members and non-FSB members.

The Royal College of Art, as part of the London Creative and Digital Fusion programme, has launched its final Design Innovation Awards. Digital and creative SMEs will have access to 3 months of bespoke business and innovation support with an estimated value of £15,000. 5 awards are available, from September to December 2014, tailored to meet the specific needs of your business.
