Like Arrows

The theatrical release of FamilyLife's Como Flechas (Like Arrows) movie in Latin America is this week! Our volunteers have been working diligently to train 1,000 couples to follow up after the movie. FamilyLife's Art of Parenting small group series is a Bible based guide to help parents of all stages focus on making Christ the center and foundation of their family.

Please pray that the movie will make a significant impact in the lives of many parents, and that the small group series will transform families and create a lasting legacy of godliness in Latin America!

Roger & Laura in Monterrey, Mexico

Andres Garza, Director of City to City Latin America, invited us to introduce FamilyLife to a network of pastors and Christian leaders in Monterrey. Friday night we were able to train 75 people as Art of Parenting facilitators, and Saturday we led a First Family First retreat for 15 pastoral couples, a getaway for pastors and their wives designed to refresh their own marriage and family and give them the tools to strengthen the marriages and families in their communities.

Besides going back in June to follow up with another retreat and offer further training, an exciting development is that City to City Latin America is asking FamilyLife Latin America to enter into a strategic partnership. Please pray for us over the next few months as God unfolds His vision for the Church in Latin America to redeem entire families to Himself. The battle for the family is the battle of our generation. This is the greatest opportunity for the Gospel we have seen in our lifetime!
