Welcome to the inaugural edition of the NEOMED faculty newsletter! We hope that this newsletter soon becomes a comfortable resource for important updates, highlights, and connection, all focused toward our NEOMED faculty body. You can expect to see regular content submission from the University Faculty Council, the Faculty Exceptional Faculty Experience Group (EEG), each College, and more!
The newsletter is meant to condense some of the most relevant updates for faculty members into one place while also integrating some light-hearted opportunities to bring faculty from all Colleges together for a good-spirited laugh. Your newsletter editors are Jordan Cinderich, coordinator in the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Janel Koellner, assistant director of Faculty Development.
In this inaugural edition, we are asking faculty to suggest a name for this newsletter. We have a few ideas, but would like to get yours as well. Please email your name suggestions to Jordan at Thank you for reading!
In this section of the newsletter, we plan to share some light-hearted and uplifting content to showcase some of the more creative and comical talents of our NEOMED faculty. Look here for regular submissions by the UFC Exceptional Experience Group (EEG)!

COP Future Pharmacist Fund
The Future Pharmacist Fund is a designated giving option through the annual Blue Fund campaign dedicated to establishing several annual scholarships to offset for third and fourth-year pharmacy students. Gifts to this fund will be invested in the NEOMED Foundation endowment and will provide perpetual scholarships through the earnings on the investment. As the size of this new endowed scholarship grows, so too will its purpose. In addition to providing much-needed scholarship support, this fund will create student leaders to help shape and guide the College of Pharmacy moving forward. Student recipients will take on leadership roles in the College of Pharmacy and serve as the Dean’s Ambassador during admissions interviews, pipeline programming, and several other important college activities.
