FAME Call for Applications
Teaching/Coaching Opportunity for Physician Members
The College of Medicine is seeking 22 physician faculty who are interested in volunteering for a new program to support M1 students during the 2022-2023 academic year.

The Faculty Coaching Program seeks physician faculty coaches to serve as performance coaches to support students to excel in all aspects of their training through periodic review of performance reports and guiding students in developing and adjusting their learning plans.

Faculty coaches will meet one-on-one with students, with each coach being assigned 8 learners. Coaches will meet with students 3-4 times per year for approximately 30 minutes per session, as well as being available for questions and support.  Meetings can be conducted via Zoom, and will start in November. Coaches will also meet as a group to learn more about student needs and resources. Estimated time commitment is an average of 2 hrs. per week.
