The Journal of Medical Sciences (JMS) at NEOMED
The Journal of Medical Sciences (JMS) at NEOMED is an online, student-led, peer-reviewed scholarly journal created to provide a platform for NEOMED students, faculty, and affiliates to publish original research, opinion pieces, editorials, reviews, abstracts, and other articles. The JMS was founded in 2020 by Trinity Samson, MD/Ph.D. student, and Dr. Fayez Safadi, Faculty Member in the Department of Anatomy and Neurobiology. A fully structured review process is in place, with feedback given on each submission by student members, our esteemed faculty, and external experts in the field, providing prospective authors the opportunity to refine their writing and scientific research abilities. Additionally, the JMS hosts monthly manuscript writing workshops to encourage and educate NEOMED students, faculty, and affiliates on how to prepare a manuscript for publication. We welcome your attendance at our manuscript writing workshops and your submissions for future publication.
