StartUp Health Insights™: Health Innovation Companies Raise $10.4B YTD

Despite a typical summer slump, health innovation is on track for its second largest funding year, ever. We saw areas of progress in Q3 2019 with the Women’s Health and Access to Care Health Moonshots enjoying YoY growth in both funding and deal flow. The soul of the health revolution – the patient – continues to be a market priority with deals inked in the name of patient empowerment and population health bringing in almost $3B YTD. Our StartUp Health team went deep into the data to forecast 2019 end-of-year projections for this maturing market.
