New Framework Gives Health System a Guide for Selecting Digital Tools 

Adopting new health technology can be risky, so what should providers, payors and patients consider before taking the plunge? A new report released by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, and co-written by Healthcare Transformer Dr. Andrey Ostrovsky of Care at Hand, aims to offer the health system a guide for making smart picks. Using StartUp Health Insights data and other resources, the IHI's Digital Health Selection Framework provides a process for identifying technology with the greatest potential to achieve the "Triple Aim" of enhancing patient care, improving population health and reducing hospital costs.
