This Startup Is Cutting ER Wait Times by 40%

If you’ve ever had to go to the ER you know how counterintuitive the experience can be – when you need to see a doctor the most, you often experience the longest wait time.

Health Transformer Alex Guastella took lessons learned building ZocDoc to tackle the problem of ER wait times in a fresh way. He and his team developed Quick’rCare, a platform that helps patients find immediate care, know the wait times at local facilities, register, and hold their place in line.

We sat down with Guastella and an emergency medicine industry veteran to talk about how Quick’rCare works and what it means for the ER to become the front door to the hospital. Read the discussion on HEALTH TRANSFORMER.
