Babyscripts Acquires iBirth, Expanding National Reach While Consolidating Market

Babyscripts, a technology platform that is improving both prenatal and pregnancy care, announced yesterday they have acquired iBirth, one of the first provider-delivered, co-branded pregnancy apps in the marketplace. For more than eight years, iBirth has engaged mothers with trackers, timers, and content. By joining forces, Babyscripts expands its reach as one of the largest clinically-validated, provider-prescribed obstetrics technologies and now manages more than 150,000 pregnancies across 20 states.

Read more about their acquisition on startuphealth.com, and see why Judith Nowlin, CEO and co-founder of iBirth and now Babyscripts’ Chief Growth Officer, sees the move as building “the single most engaging and powerful provider-delivered virtual care platform for pregnancy and beyond.”
