Highlights from the 1st Quarter
We continued our hand at various traditional and fusion recipes and offered some awesome specials over the Chinese New Year, Valentine's Day and most recently Holi, India's Festival of Colors. We were also able to squeeze in a semi-special for the Super Bowl. Also noteworthy was our focus on "Getting our Plate in Shape" to recognize and celebrate National Nutrition Month in March. Some of our most popular dishes in the last three months were:
- Baked Crusted Tilapia
- Indo Chinese Chilli Chicken
- Sweet Corn Soup
- Vegetarian Tacos
- Yummy Rice Pudding
- Chocolate Coconut Balls
We will continue to feature a recipe every Wednesday with Menu Offerings for Special occasions.
And our "Testimonials"
page continues to grow, thanks to the wonderful support from all of you.
Plans for Q2 2012
- Look out for a Menu Special for Mother's Day
- Special Competition:
This Mother's Day is going to be extra special for us because Shalini is expecting a baby boy right around then. Her due date is May 14, but we are having a small competition. Enter in your guess as to when the baby will be born. In order to be eligible, you must like our facebook page
, and you must enter your guess on our wall. The one who gets the actual date right on our facebook wall will win a free autographed copy of "Indian Fusion Cooking" by Shobhna Sahgal
(Shalini's mother). So make sure to enter in your guess no later than April 15. If we have more than one correct entry, we will have a lucky draw to determine the winner. And, only 1 entry per person.
Meanwhile, happy cooking!!
