ECET2 Delaware: Connecting Innovative Educators is a free conference that brings together educators from across the state for an inspirational and empowering day of teacher-led and teacher-focused programming.

This event was formerly known as the Rodel Teacher Council Personalized Learning Workshop. The Cultivating a Calling Keynotes and breakout sessions will cover topics relevant to elementary, middle, and high school educators, as well as those in early childhood, CTE, and special education. Cultivating a Calling Keynote Speakers
Barbara Bray, creative learning specialist at Rethinking Learning, is the first Cultivating a Calling Keynote Speaker for ECET2 Delaware.

Her address will explore "The Future of Learning" with a special focus on skills needed for work and life, equity and social justice, and competency-based education.
Dr. Justin Comegys and Mr. William Culver a.k.a Two Guys Who Sort of Know What They're Doing, established a professional social media network across several platforms in order to provide teacher to teacher professional development.   

A quick summary of their address: "Teachers are heroes who don't wear capes. They influence the future and should have a lot of fun doing it!"
Assistant Principal at Seaford Middle School, Jerod Phillips, M.ED, is the third Cultivating a Calling Keynote Speaker for ECET2 Delaware.

His address will focus on one of his passions; teacher-driven professional development.

Representatives from the following platforms will provide live demonstrations and answer questions.
ECET2 TWITTER CHAT:
The Rodel Teacher Council will host a Twitter Chat on Thursday, February 9 at 7:30 p.m. to discuss elevating and celebrating effective teaching and teachers as well as answer your questions about ECET2 Delaware.
Transportation for ECET2 Delaware will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis  from Wilmington and Georgetown. There are 50 seats available at each location. To reserve your seat or learn more, click here.
