We’re starting 2017 with a great big THANK YOU!

Over the last few months, new and recurring donors committed to support kids, families, and seniors this year. With your help we exceeded our 2016 year-end campaign goal so, this year, we will finalize our Across the Generations intergenerational tutoring and mentoring program. We'll also continue advocating for post-adoption support of adoptive families while we move the Hope Lights project forward.

This great news leads me to ask ... have you been looking for a way to serve your community? We've got much work to do and need passionate folks to volunteer their time and talent. I ask you to seriously consider joining our board this year to help us make a real difference for kids, families, and seniors. Read about board membership here or feel free to contact me at for more information.

Here's to a happy and productive new year and to helping our kids realize a brighter future. Many thanks again!

“What a great and amazing weekend! It exceeded all my expectations, provided information we so desperately needed and sent us home renewed and hopeful!”

Office Moms and Dads

In the hours after a child is removed from their home, where do they go? Who watches over them? Many times they sit in a welfare office for hours during one of the most frightening times of their lives. If you have a flexible day-time schedule, you can be an on-call volunteer and help these kids during these first hours. Help is needed across the state. The next training session in Bellevue is Tuesday, January 17 from 5:30-6:30pm. Learn more at
