The 12th Annual Forum Conference
Kicks Off Tomorrow!

The Forum’s 12th Annual Conference, Navigating the Intersections: The Cultures of Education Abroad, is this week, April 6-8, at the Westin Peachtree Plaza.

Conference Quick Links:

On-Site Registration & Check-In

On-site conference registration and check-in will be open during the following hours:
  • Tuesday, April 5:  4-7 p.m.
  • Wednesday, April 6:  7 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Thursday, April 7:  7 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Friday, April 8:  7 a.m.-5 p.m.
There is still time to register online, or you may go to the conference registration desk during the above times to register on-site. The conference registration desk can be found on the 6th floor of the hotel in The Overlook.

Arriving Early or Staying Late?

If you are arriving in Atlanta early, consider attending full-day, morning or afternoon pre-conference workshops on Wednesday, April 6. The Forum is also offering a post-conference workshop, U.S. Legislation Packs a Suitcase: The Clery Act, Title IX, VAWA and Related Obligations for Education Abroad, on Saturday, April 9. Visit The Forum’s on-site registration table to add any of these options to your conference registration.

Opening Plenary Event

The conference officially begins Wednesday evening at 5:30 p.m. with the presentation of the Peter A. Wollitzer Advocacy Award and the plenary address by Dr. Nico Jooste, “Study Abroad: The Triumph of the Commons | Demanding the Impossible.” The welcome reception will immediately follow.
