Forum Annual Conference Begins Next Week

Over 1,200 people are expected to attend the Forum on Education Abroad’s Annual Conference, which begins with pre-conference workshops and the Standards of Good Practice Institute next Wednesday, March 21 in Denver. Some conference facts:
  • 48 states and 24 countries will be represented
  • 15% of attendees will be from outside the U.S.
  • On-site check-in and registration will begin on Tuesday, March 20 from 4:00-7:00 p.m.
  • On Wednesday, March 21, on-site check-in will open at 7:00 a.m.
  • New this year is the Opening Keynote Address, which begins at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday
  • Two new special sessions have been added to the program: "Getting the Most out of the Conference," a session for newcomers  (Thursday, 8:00-8:30 a.m., Plaza Ballroom A&B); and  "New to the Forum ?" a  session for new members and non-members (Thursday, 12 noon-1:00 p.m., Plaza Ballroom A&B).
