The Ninth Annual Forum Conference Kicks Off Tomorrow!

The Forum’s Ninth Annual Conference, “Moving Beyond It Was Great: Student Learning and Development in Education Abroad,” is this week, April 3-5, at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers. We are extremely pleased to share that 1,320 people have now registered, making this the largest Forum conference to date!

On-Site Registration

On-site check-in and registration will be open during the following times:
  • Tuesday, April 2, from 4-7pm
  • Wednesday, April 3, from 7am-5pm
  • Thursday, April 4, from 7am-5pm
  • Friday, April 5, from 7am-12pm

Arriving Early?

If you are arriving in Chicago early, consider attending the Standards of Good Practice Institute on “Ethics and Integrity in Education Abroad.” The Institute is being held at the conference hotel on Wednesday, April 3, beginning with continental breakfast at 8:30am and ending at 5:15pm. Another option for early-arrivals is Wednesday morning and afternoon pre-conference workshops. Visit the Forum’s on-site registration table between 4-7pm today, or early tomorrow, to add any of these options to your conference registration!

Opening Plenary

The conference officially begins with opening plenary speaker, Lilli Engle, who will present her talk, “What Do We Know Now, and Where Do We Go From Here?” on Wednesday evening at 5:30, with the Welcome Reception immediately following.
