Proposed Changes to the Bylaws

Over the past year, The Forum Board of Directors has reviewed the organization’s bylaws and sought broad input from the membership on proposed changes. Feedback from the membership has been incorporated into the proposed draft of bylaw changes. You will see that the majority of the proposed changes involve the removal of descriptions of Board operations from the bylaws. Instead, the Board believes that these are more properly placed in the Board Operating Manual, which will be made available on The Forum website.

The Board encourages the membership to review these proposed changes in advance of a vote to adopt them, which is expected to take place in December.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Mike Morrison, Chair of the Board’s Audit Committee at michael_morrison@baylor.edu.
