Be Part of the On-Site Dialogue: The Forum’s 3rd European Conference

The Forum’s European Conferences provide the valuable opportunity for on-site education abroad professionals to dialogue with colleagues from across Europe, sharing ideas, strategies and concerns. Join the dialogue by submitting a session proposal for the 3rd European Conference, Living Change: Education Abroad in 21st Century Europe. The conference will be hosted by CYA (College Year in Athens) in Athens, Greece, October 5-7, 2016.

The theme of the 3rd European Conference explores how U.S. education abroad defines Europe, and how European education abroad partners define Europe to visiting U.S. students, so that students may appreciate the past, understand the present and anticipate the future of the most popular education abroad destination.

Proposed Amendments to Higher Education Act – Title I

The Forum signed letters to the House and Senate in support of amendments proposed by the Association of American International Colleges and Universities (AAICU) to the Higher Education Act–Title I, Sections 101 and 102. AAICU has proposed that the definition of an “institution of higher education” be modified in order to include American colleges and universities abroad that are fully accredited and licensed in the United States, and meet all other requirements for eligibility under the HEA.
