Don’t miss the opportunity to hone your health, safety and risk management expertise at the Forum Standards Institute on Health, Safety and Risk Management on June 12th and the Forum/NACUA Clery Workshop on June 13th. The Standards Institute features four sets of concurrent sessions on a broad range of topics that move beyond the basics
of health safety and risk management. The Clery Workshop offers a full day of hands-on learning to help all education abroad partners understand the nuances of Clery compliance. Online registration closes this Friday, May 25.

Forum Council Nominations: Deadline Tomorrow
Tomorrow, Wednesday, May 23, is the deadline for submitting nominations to fill five open spaces on the Forum Council. The Forum Council represents the interests of the field and plays a significant role in the work of the Forum. To nominate a colleague, or express your own interest, send a description of the qualifications of the candidate, referencing specific ways in which they can contribute to the Forum’s goals and projects; a curriculum vitae; and full contact information to firstname.lastname@example.org
Undergraduate Research Award Nominations
As the academic year comes to a close, now is the time to plan nominations for the Forum’s Undergraduate Research Award. The deadline for nominations is June 29. Not sure which students may be deserving? Check with on-site program staff and faculty; they should be able to identify students who have completed excellent research as part of their education abroad program.
