Forum Supports Senator Paul Simon Study Abroad Program Act

The Forum, along with NAFSA and several other associations, pledged its support of the Senator Paul Simon Study Abroad Program Act that was reintroduced in Congress last week by U.S. Senators Richard Durbin (D-IL) and Roger Wicker (R-MS). The bipartisan bill envisions greatly expanding study abroad opportunities for U.S. undergraduate students.

The Forum Partners with 32 NCSI to Develop Assessment Tool

The Forum is very excited to inform members of a new online self-assessment tool that will provide an additional way for an organization to assess its health, safety, security and risk management practices. The project is a collaboration between The Forum and 32 National Campus Safety Initiative (32 NCSI), a flagship program of the VTV Family Outreach Foundation (VTV). U.S. college and university members are being asked to test this tool by completing a survey and participating in a follow-up focus group discussion. Member participation will assist in the refinement of this tool before it debuts in early 2017. Forum institutional representatives of U.S.-based colleges and universities should watch their inbox for more information about participating in this project.
