12th Annual Conference: Early-Bird Registration Ends January 29

Early-bird registration for the 12th Annual Conference ends next Friday, January 29. Take advantage of reduced pricing and register now. The conference, Navigating the Intersections: The Cultures of Education Abroad, will take place in Atlanta, GA, April 6-8, at the Westin Peachtree Plaza.
In every program, different national identities, learning models, values, disciplines, languages, traditions, institutions and organizations encounter each other in distinctive ways that create the unique cultures of education abroad. Education abroad lives and thrives at the intersections of these ideas and realities. The Forum’s 12th Annual Conference seeks to address these intersections and other questions unique to education abroad.

Session Proposal Deadline - “Living Change”: The Forum’s 3rd European Conference

The theme of the Forum’s third European Conference reflects the reality of the contemporary European experience. Join colleagues from across Europe, to share ideas, strategies and concerns by submitting a session proposal for the 3rd European Conference, Living Change: Education Abroad in 21st Century Europe. The conference will be hosted by CYA (College Year in Athens) in Athens, Greece, October 5-7, 2016.
The deadline to submit proposals is January 29.

Call for Proposals: Beyond the Basics of Health, Safety, Security and Risk Management

The Forum is now accepting session proposals for the 7th Annual Standards of Good Practice Institute, Beyond the Basics of Health, Safety, Security and Risk Management, to be held at Northwestern University on June 23, 2016. This institute is the field’s signature annual event focusing on the education abroad risk management issues faced by organizations and institutions. Education abroad professionals gather to debrief, train, improve and learn the latest in best practices of education abroad risk management, including regulatory compliance.

The deadline for submitting proposals is February 5.
