The Forum Launches First Online Workshop

The Overview of the Standards of Good Practice workshop, the first workshop leading to Professional Certification in Education Abroad, is now available online! The registration fee is the same as the fee for attending a live workshop, without the cost of travel and hotel. The online module is available to all, and enrollment in the Professional Certification Program is not required.

This four hour workshop uses The Standards to help you assess all areas of education abroad programming and offers guidance in how to ensure quality in academic programming, student conduct, resources and personnel and policies and procedures. The online module was filmed during a live event which allows participants to learn from fellow practitioners in the field. Exercises, case studies, and assessments are provided to assist the viewer to examine their own capabilities at their respective universities or organizations.
