Kicks Off Tomorrow!


The Forum’s 11th Annual Conference, It Takes a Campus and More: The Faces of Education Abroad, is this week, March 25-27, at the Sheraton New Orleans.

On-Site Registration & Check-In


On-site conference registration and check-in will be open during the following hours:
  • Tuesday, March 24:  4-7 p.m.
  • Wednesday, March 25:  7 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Thursday, March 26:  7 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Friday, March 27:  7 a.m.-5 p.m.
There is still time to register online, or you may go to the conference registration desk during the above times to register on-site. The conference registration desk can be found on the 5th floor of the hotel.

Arriving Early or Staying Late?


If you are arriving in New Orleans early, consider attending a full-day, morning or afternoon pre-conference workshop on Wednesday, March 24. The Forum is also offering a post-conference workshop, U.S. Legislation Packs a Suitcase: The Clery Act, Title IX, VAWA and Related Obligations for Education Abroad, on Saturday, March 28. Visit The Forum’s on-site registration table to add any of these options to your conference registration.

Opening Plenary


The conference officially begins with opening plenary speaker, Robert Quinn, who will present his talk, “We Leave our Guns at the Door: The Essential Role of Higher Education” on Wednesday evening at 5:30 p.m., with the Welcome Reception immediately following.
