Dear <<First Name>>
Hurrah! We managed to remember to edit our Mailchimp template before allowing it to send out an email to over 1,200 colleagues. Now that is some success for Monday morning(!)
This round up has an "employment" feel about it. Long time friend of the Ticketing Institute Jamie Snelgrove has joined Toptix as a Business Development Director, having previously been with SEE Tickets. Whilst there are positions available at both Best Union and Ticketsolve for motivated and experienced ticketing professionals.
In terms of news, we have started the annual "MOT" or check-up of supplier functionality and their answers in the Functionality Builder. We started off with Spektrix two weeks ago and you can read our findings below.
We spent two days last week with the Access Group at their "Access Into" days and their annual Gamma user group. Those of you in Scotland or the North, who are an attraction or cultural centre, may like to head to their free session on the 19th October at the Scottish Whiskey Experience. Andrew will be speaking on the subject of "why people change systems". London's event was packed full of other speakers and useful information, so it's worth seeing if you can get to it in Edinburgh.
For those of you who have not registered for Ticketing Professionals yet, the early bird price expires at teh end of this month. Register for updates, including the first round of speakers and sessions here. Don't forget TTI subscribers can get 10% discount by using the promotion code "TTI"
