Admit it, we do, there's always room for improvement.  Sometimes it's the slightest twist of the wrist or a drift of the rod, that you're unaware that you are doing.  Student casting evaluation and individual diagnosis of casting problems and solutions and tips will be given.  Students will then put to use what they learned with a week of practice before returning for final clinic.  Instructors will then diagnose improvements in your cast. This clinic is a 2 day course for high beginner and intermediate casters (This is NOT a beginning fly casting class. Please see Comprehensive Introduction to Fly Fishing if interested in learning Fly Fishing)
Clinic is scheduled for consecutive Saturday mornings at 8 am, August 9th & 16th.  Class size limited, deposit requiredClass cost is $110 and deposit is required. LEVEL: Intermediate to Advanced anglers. Lead Instructor Jan Nemec.

A 1/2 day clinic, with Fly Fisher's Guide to Nevada, Jan Nemec, on the entomology of the Eastern Sierra.  Learn about the insects that local trout feed on and their life cycle.  This will help you in the 10/90 Rule.  10% of those that catch 90% of the fish!  All bugs behave differently in the water and during the seasons.   Life cycles of the insects and when they are active, will help the organization of your fly box.   Students will learn how to make their own riffler to sample the stream bed.  A quick identification of the hatch to match what the trout are taking will aid in more takes.   Saturday, September 6th, 12pm (noon) - 4pm LEVEL: Beginning - Advanced  $ 40

Your catch rates are sure to go up after we cover the most effective fishing methods, fly lines, and flies by the season. We'll go over the best lakes, reservoirs, and ponds to fish locally and the best access points. Two hours of the class will be dedicated to honing the newly learned skills and all without wading so we can focus on cast mechanics.  LEVEL: High beginner to Intermediate/Angler
Sunday, August 17th 7:30am-11:30am Class size limited, deposit required.  Cost: $120
