Changes Ahead
 

Hello NVYS Families -

I wanted to reach out to tell you that after a long tenure at Napa Valley Youth Symphony I will be moving on to new opportunities at the end of this calendar year. I have been with NVYS for 10 years, 3 conductors, 4 tours, 6 Red Galas/Guest Artists, 8 BottleRock Festivals, 3 Board Presidents, 3 Camp Cazadero retreats, and 2 years of COVID (or is that ongoing?). Whew! And as an incredible bonus, my three kids grew up in NVYS as musicians and human beings. This organization has been my musical home, job and community for a long time.


As many of you know, my kids are off to college, so it is time for a new chapter. I am excited to return to my career in organizational development and have accepted a role as Delicato Family Wines new Training and Development Manager. I know I will miss so many aspects of this job, but most of all the people and the mission.


I have LONG LIST of people to thank (our musicians, parents, Board, Board Presidents, Conductors (past and definitely present), Coaches, and Directors) which is why I will be here for a few more months (yes, it will take me that long to thank you all) and assure the NVYS is prepared for its next chapter.
