San Luis Obispo County single family homes have been steadily increasing in value over the past few years and there continues to be more demand for homes than there are homes available for purchase.
This first graph shows the median sales price for SLO County and Los Angeles County over the last 3 years. The median sale price is higher in Los Angeles County, but it is increasing at roughly the same pace as we've seen here in SLO County.
The monthly supply of homes has been well below 6 months for the past 3 years here in SLO County. Los Angeles county has almost identical monthly inventory trends! There are more active listings in the summer months, and less inventory in the winter.
I joined the CRMLS, a statewide cooperative MLS, just a couple of months ago. This gives me the ability to view listings outside of the Central Coast and my listings get even more exposure to buyers in other areas than before.
