It's Spring!

Happy Spring, everyone! We hope you are all enjoying the beautiful weather.

Come See Us Next Weekend!

On Saturday, April 25th from 2-4pm, we'll be having a meet & greet fundraiser at Potbelly Sandwich Shop, on 17th and Pennsylvania NW. The whole staff will be there, including Tina! Come chat with us. Potbelly will donate 25% of the proceeds during those two hours to Courtney's House, so bring some friends!

Spring Means It's Prom Time

One of our survivors is going to her senior prom next month and needs a dress and some shoes! If you or someone you know is interested in donating or lending her some, please contact us at (You'll need to know her sizes.)
News & Updates
Remember that Fox 5 report we did in January? (It's this one about strip clubs in Prince George's County.) Well, great news! Fox 5 has been following up, and one of the strip clubs has been closed by county officials! Links to all the follow up and videos can be found on our website.

Rachel, our Director of Operations, wrote a blog post about the trafficking bill that stalled in the Senate. It's gotten some attention. Read it here.

Did you know that if you shop on this Etsy site, a portion of the proceeds will go to Courtney's House? Thanks to Macaela Vahl for her generosity!
Tina was invited to speak at a press conference about the trafficking bill in the Senate. Here she is at the podium. (Behind her from left: Sen. Leahy, fellow survivor Stacy Jewell Lewis, Sen. Blumenthal, Sen. Schumer, and Sen. Stabenow.)
Courtney's House is proud to announce our new partnership with the DC Rape Crisis Center. We look forward to working together! Check out their website and follow them on twitter. Also, remember, April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. #SAAM
