Fresh Tracks Farm Wine Club

Greetings Club Members!

We wanted to send out a big thank you for making our first party a success, it was such a pleasure having you here with us and now we can hardly wait for our next one! But now it is the holiday season and we hope everyone stays healthy and happy during this potentially stressful time of year. With the cold weather returning with a vengeance, it is even more important to find time to kick back, relax, and get cozy with our loved ones. In the gift bag you received with your wine is a recipe and base ingredients for a warming, fragrant glogg. It is the perfect drink to help defrost after a long day of working, shopping, braving slippery roads, and all the other wonderful things that come with this time of year. We thought it might bring a little extra holiday cheer!
Thank you!

In our excitement to get your wine cases put together we didn’t get a chance to tell you about the wines! Below is what we chose for your first box!
Vermont Rosé 2015
Vintaged, bottled in 2016
This vintage is a blend of St.Croix and Adalmiina, delicate and softly fruity with a lean towards fresh strawberry and flowers. This vintage is almost gone, so we wanted to make sure you didn’t miss out before we release our 2016 vintage. A bright light to be drunk in the darkest of winter days.

Backcountry Blanc
Non-Vintage, bottled in 2014
This is the first vintage of our driest white wine, a blend of our Adalmiina with a touch of Lodi Chardonnay. A crisp, pear and citrus forward wine to sip as your look out on a fresh blanket of snow.
Freerider Red
Non-Vintage, bottled 2015
A blend of barrel aged St.Croix’s from 2012 and 2013, this light-medium bodied red is a great table wine to keep around for all occasions. Smooth and fruity with a toasty nose, drink as is with crusty bread and Italian cheeses or use it as a base for a warming glogg.
Marquette
Vintaged 2017
This special wine was bottled the end of November, straight from the tank  This wine is fresh from fermentation and still in steel, creating a unique opportunity to taste it before it goes to barrel aging. It is vibrant and youthful, but still has lots of length and will be a fun wine to pair at your next holiday party or festive feast. Don’t forget to drink it while it is young, preferably within the next few weeks for the optimal experience!
Frontenac Gris 2014
Vintaged, bottled 2015
This was one of our biggest harvest seasons, a whopping 50 tons! Frontenac gris came in bright and juicy that year, with plenty of acidity to match the satisfyingly sweet midpalate. For a tropical twist add a little pineapple rum, lime wedge, and club soda for a cocktail spritzer, or incorporate it into a fun party punch!
Dog River Red
Non-Vintage, bottled 2016
A red wine for any time of year! This off-dry style is lovely served chilled or at cellar temperature, a great wine when it is 80 or -8 outside. A blend of 60% St.Croix and 40% Marquette, it is subtly sweet with a dry, delicately spicy finish. Serve alongside light appetizers, candied nuts, or dark chocolate.
Maple Wine
Non-Vintage, trees tapped 2014
Our signature dessert wine! Sweet and silky smooth, with warming toffee caramel and of course maple all the way through this decadent wine. On its own or with dessert, it shows off the complexity of our maple often hidden by the intense sweetness of maple syrup. We love the smaller bottle during this time of year, either as a special gift or just the right amount to pass around the table.
