2020 START National Training Institute

Save the date for the fifth annual START National Training Institute in Austin, Texas from May 4-6, 2020. Registration opens in January 2020.
This year's theme is Mindfulness, with an opening keynote from Dr. Nirbhay Singh, Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the Medical College of Georgia, CEO of MacTavish Behavioral Health LLC in Raleigh, NC, and an expert in mindfulness-based interventions for individuals with IDD and their caregivers.
Content strands for the 2020 SNTI breakout sessions are:
  • Strength-Based Approaches & Community Inclusion
  • Psychiatry & Integrated Health
  • Research, Policy & Practices
  • Cross-Systems Crisis Intervention.
