North Carolina and New York START Cross-Program Collaboration
Leadership teams from NC START Central and NY START Region 4 (New York City) met for a two-day retreat this week in Durham, North Carolina. The group used their time together to exchange resources and experiences and discuss common strategies to develop and implement START In-home therapeutic coaching (in-home supports). This cross program collaboration demonstrates the START values of community (developing and maintaining fellowship with others that share common attitudes, values, interests, and goals) and a commitment to ongoing professional learning.
“It was great to see teams from programs in different stages of development working and learning from one another. This was a true demonstration of the START Network/Professional Learning Community at work.”

- Andrea Caoili, Director of Quality Assurance, Center for START Services
