Headlining the event will be the BBC's technology correspondent Rory Cellan-Jones, who has been covering the internet and new media since 2007 for a variety of BBC programmes. Also speaking will be Simon Biltcliffe from Barnsley-based global print buying business Webmart, who will share his experience of taking advantage of digital resources in order to grow his business. CubeSocial's Linda Cheung will be speaking about the evolution of LinkedIn, and how the business networking platform can be exploited today. Futuristic IT consultant Adrian McKewen will talk about the rise of interconnected smart devices and how the 'internet of things' could impact businesses in the future.

In addition to the keynotes, delegates are invited to attend free follow-up workshops, where digital specialists will give masterclass sessions to share their knowledge, advice, and expertise. They will also help delegates to connect with local professionals who can provide the guidance to make the advice given on the day go even further.

This event is an absolute staple in any Barnsley business' calendar, and over 150 delegates are expected to attend. Tickets are free and include lunch, but are expected to be extremely popular, so make sure you don't miss out!
