Welcome to the SPFAlumni eNewsletter -  for alumni (including former staff) of The Stephen Perse Foundation (which includes The Perse School for Girls).

You are part of a network of over 2500 alumni!

Use the links from photos and text to take you to our website for more stories and updates. You can change or update your details, or offer to be a case study on our website or give a talk to students. There are lots of ways to get involved.

Exciting new development plans!

Cambridge City Council’s planning committee have given unanimous consent to the our ambitious plans for the Senior School’s Union Road site. Take a look at the plans here.

Alumni visits

We love to see you coming back and seeing the new changes in your school.

Racing driver and broadcaster Vicki Butler Henderson (left 1990), is just one alumna who came for a tour and lunch and was delighted to see her former French teacher Jean Marie Lambert. Take a look at alumni who have been visiting school - anything from an informal tour to giving talks to our student - here.

Alumni Reunions

The review and photos of the 2015 reunion here (1965 leavers pictured below). Our next reunion is on 16 June 2016, so take a look at the information for which groups are celebrating anniversaries (leavers of 2006. 1996, 1986 etc).

Your reunions

A number of you meet up in groups around the country (leavers of 1983 below) - and we love to hear about these reunions. There is a new section on our website with all your reunions, so take a look for leavers of  1958, 1969, 1974 and 1983. Please let us know if you'd like to arrange one yourself, as we particularly like to encourage new SPG members to get in touch. Don't forget you can update your details here.

Former staff news

Catch up with what your former teachers are doing now...including Julia Payne, Celia Beadle, Will Percival, Paola Moore and more. You can also download a booklet we produced about Margaret Chamberlain and see the fantastic contribution she made to the school. If you are a former member of staff who would like to appear in this section please get in touch.

Take a look at awards, honours, prizes and sporting successes from our alumni.

Our archives

We have a small but varied archive of materials relating to the School’s history since its founding in 1881. We recently set up a new team to sort, categorise and ultimately digitise some of our collection. The new section on our website with archive stories can now be found here.

We love hearing your announcements, please email details and photo 1-2mg to the Alumni and Development Office. Marriages and births will go in this eNewsletter and obituaries and deaths will be listed on the website.
