Hello, <<First Name>>!
I hope that you are doing well and gracefully stepping into new opportunities and the realization of your dreams.
Wow, that is a loaded opener!
I was shopping at a department store and there were signs everywhere offering to $100 back if you opened a new credit card account. Really smart advertising because everywhere you looked, if you were in a spiritual state of mind, you saw;
OPEN
a new credit card account and
RECEIVE
$100 cash back on your first purchase.
It was like the Universe was screaming, “Wake up, people!” Let's work together on this thing called life!
If we believe that God gives us the desires of our heart, plants creative ideas in our brains and the courage to execute in our gut then He/She/It must also have a plan for the realization of those desires, ideas and insights.
After all, we were taught to seek, knock and ask for what we want! “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. Matthew 7:7
Not so easy..........here is the challenge!
Is what I want directly connected to my True purpose?
In the midst of my spiritual journey, I learned the phrase, “this or something better”. We may have the best intentions; however, we don’t see the whole picture. We may be blind-sided by our ego and the expectations of the world. If this thing we want does not appear, we can become a victim; express anger or choose to assume that something better, something more aligned with our individual mission is being prepared for us.
Several years ago, during a time of discouragement around my need for professional success, an inspired affirmation came to me:
My True purpose is fully financed by God (or the Universe).
No one seemed to notice or acknowledge the deep “ah-ha” statement about life I posted in social media.
Just a few days ago, I realized where I had missed the mark so I revised the statement.
I am GRATEFUL that my True purpose is fully orchestrated & financed by God!
Step #1 is to embrace gratitude; affirm that a plan is already in place. By giving thanks for the desired outcome before it comes into our reality, we already believe that it would be so. And so it is. We have the opportunity to create a partnership with the Universe to work towards the fulfillment of our mission.
I have noticed a new closing in emails where a request has been made. “Thank you in advance”. Some think it is another way to manipulate the reader through guilt to follow through on your "ask". On a deeper, spiritual level, it is brilliant!
I give thanks, in advance, for your continued support of our mission!
In the Spirit of Strengths,
Jennifer
