Oftentimes, a victory in advocacy doesn’t look like a victory. There isn’t always a press conference or a bill signing ceremony. Sometimes a victory is a victory because of what doesn’t come about. Dr. Dan Breece Joins Ohio ACEP Board
We’re happy to announce that Dan Breece, DO, FACEP, has been appointed to the Ohio ACEP Board of Directors to fill the unexpired term vacated by longtime Board Member, Dr. Robert Broida.
Dr. Breece serves as Medical Director for Emergency and Urgent Care Services at Marietta Memorial Health System, where he is also a Core Faculty Member for the EM Residency Program. [Read more]

We are accepting nominations for the Bill Hall Award for Service, the EM Physician of the Year Award, Ohio ACEP Advocacy Award, Education Award, and Leadership Award, and— new this year—the Outstanding Emergency Medicine Resident of the Year Award!
Awards will be presented April 19, during the 2016 Ohio ACEP Emergency Medicine Leadership Forum

Ohio EMS Now Accepting Star of Life Nominations
Ohio ACEP and the Division of EMS will join the State Board of Emergency Medical, Fire, and Transportation Services on May 18 for the 16th Annual EMS Star of Life Awards. The ceremony was designed to recognize Ohio’s outstanding first responders, reunite EMS personnel with the patients they saved, and honor Ohio's EMS heroes. The Ohio Division of EMS is now accepting nominations for EMS Star of Life Awards.
