Gold Peak Expansion: Calling all public comments!

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of you who attended the public meeting yesterday regarding the Golden Peak Improvements Project. The strong attendance of those of you supporting this key initiative certainly made a positive impression to the Forest Service staff.

The next step is to submit a concisely written letter to comment on the Vail Ski Resort Golden Peak Improvements Project. We implore all our athletes, parents, staff, and friends to please submit a public comment electronically by clicking here

Your support can make all the difference in making this project a reality and leading to significant improvements in our training and programming. Please feel free to reference the attached sample letters that Vail Resorts provided for help.

With Great Appreciation,

Support Slower Speeds For Minturn!

Minturn has grown residentially over the last several decades yet speed limits on State Highway 24 through town remain higher than standard residential zones. With pedestrians at risk and so many residential driveways along the road, speeding has become a big issue in our tiny town. Please help us tell the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) that Minturn wants to stay a safe and friendly community, and to reduce the number of speed limits through our town. Please click here to sign the petition. Thanks so much for your support!
