We had our first PTA meeting Wednesday, September 18, 2014 at VSSA and “hit the ground running”! We will be distributing the meeting notes sometime next week. As PTA President, I hope VSSA parents will be involved with PTA events and activities, so we can accomplish our main objective “ to build and enrich community” throughout the school year. Thank you to everyone who has already volunteered to help be a part of the VSSA PTA and our past PTA officers who have worked hard to make VSSA the best school in Eagle County! We can’t do it without your help and involvement. We are working on a list of opportunities for parents to get involved with PTA.
Our new PTA officers are:
Vice President: Alison Sauter
Secretary: Christine Lawton
Treasurer: Susan Okurowski
Let’s make this year the best ever! Please feel free to contact me at jor call 703-314-8607. Thanks for your help and support.

Free/Discounted Ski Passes for 5th & 6th Graders
For the past 18 years, over 250,000 families have participated in Colorado Ski Country USA's 5th Grade Passport Program. This year, Colorado Ski Country USA's 5th Grade Passport Program provides participants with three free days of skiing or snowboarding at each of our 20 member resorts. Ski all 60 days or just a few; the 5th Grade Passport is still the best value in Colorado.
Your kid's in 6th grade, not 5th? No problem. Colorado Ski Country USA's 6th Grade Passport Program provides participants with four days of skiing or snowboarding at each of our 20 member resorts for a mere $99. That amounts to 80 awesome days on the slopes for a mere $1.25 per day. There is not a better deal on the planet for 6th graders than this one.
