Kai Ogawa - Class of 2023

Kai was born in Mammoth Lakes CA, where he started skiing at 14 months old. He
moved to the Vail Valley when he was 4 and started ski racing when he was about 6 years old.
He started at VSSA in the 7 th grade and has been working hard in skiing and academics. Mostly
though he works his fashion magic for all his buddies at VSSA. He also played football for Battle
Mountain High School as a running back but he says his biggest joy is Skateboarding. It’s some
thing that he does just for himself and he finds a great amount of freedom in that. His dream is
to go live in Japan for a while and learn the language and all about the culture. Lately he’s been
spotted cruising around in a fine Audi convertible.
