President Obama wants the federal government to take over another major sector of our economy ... the Internet!

His Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has proposed a new, 332-page plan to reclassify the Internet as a public utility under Title II of the Communications Act of 1934, giving government bureaucrats broad powers to control it.

If this so-called "Net Neutrality" plan is implemented, it will result in higher Internet access fees for millions of Americans and will destroy the freedom and flexibility that have made the Internet so successful.

It will allow the same people who managed the failed rollout of Obamacare's website to control the future of the Internet.

And, of course, once the federal government has IRS-type powers over the Internet, don't think for a minute that it won't use its ability to ration broadband service to target conservatives.

This is a serious threat to our liberty and we must stop it.

Please sign our petition and tell Congress: "Don't Mess With The Net!"

We will deliver these petitions to all 100 senators and keep you updated on what else you can do to stop this dangerous policy.

The FCC will vote on the Internet takeover plan on Thursday, February 26th. The Democrats on the commission have a majority and will likely ram it through despite widespread opposition.

We need to make our voices heard before this vote so Congress takes real action to protect Internet freedom.

Republicans may try to cut a deal with Democrats that still opens the door to government control. They need to know that surrender is not an option. This takeover must be defeated.

Take action right now.

This Internet takeover is completely unnecessary.

The Internet works for families who have content options that were only dreamed of a decade ago, and it works for businesses who have access to customers and opportunities that were previously unimaginable.
The only people the Internet does not work for are the regulators.

The president's plan is a solution in search of a problem. More specifically, it's a 1930's era solution to a 21st century success story.

Please take a stand right now and sign the "Don't Mess with the Net!" petition urging Congress to defeat the president's Internet takeover.

Congress won't fight this attack on liberty unless we force them to.

We need to put maximum pressure on Republicans in Washington or they will look the other way and let the president take more of our freedoms.

Thank you for taking action to keep the Internet free!
