For the last 14 weeks, we've been able to share amazing facts, fun crafts, informative videos, and more to help bring wonder to your home. We're so proud that we've been able to play a part in your homeschooling journey, while giving you and your young scientist some fun along the way. We've been overwhelmed by your support and response, and are proud to have provided daily wonder in ways no one else has.
Please enjoy some of our readers' favorite videos, activities, crafts and more in this special week-long series. Starting July 6, we'll be kicking off a new series to help keep you connected to nature and science all summer.
Support our animals, continued educational programming, and conservation research while we are closed. Consider making a donation to the Nature Museum.
Even though we're currently closed to the public, we still have butterflies and moths that need to be released into the Judy Istock Butterfly Haven. We filmed one of these releases so you can still see it and participate from home! Click here to check out the video.
Make a coffee filter butterfly
In addition to the gorgeous exotic butterflies in the Judy Istock Butterfly Haven, there are so many beautiful butterflies that are native to our area!
