Deadline approaches for Neighbourhood Planning questionnaire
The deadline is fast approaching for local residents to return their completed Neighbourhood Planning questionnaire to Epping Town Council.
The council says it has had a "fantastic" response with 700 forms having been returned already.
The deadline is Sunday, April 3.
'Epping Together Your Town: Your Say' is the name the council has given to its Neighbourhood Planning process.
In addition to the questionnaire, the town council has held various events and displays giving local people plenty of opportunity to have their say.
Town clerk Beverley Rumsey said: "We have had a fantastic response already but would like to remind people who have not yet returned their questionnaires that time is running out.
"We are still collating all the information received and have plenty to consider at the next stage of the Neighbourhood Plan process.
"People have been very forthcoming on what they like, and dislike, about the town and how they see the future of Epping with regards to potential development in the years ahead."
The Household Questionnaire was delivered through doors with the town magazine 'Talk About Epping’. There are some forms available from Epping Hall.
Residents and businesses can still put their completed forms in one of the collection boxes around town, which are in Tesco, M&S, the High Street Post Office and Parcel Collection Office and Epping Hall in St John’s Road.
Anyone who wants to complete the survey online can find it at www.eppingtowncouncil.gov.uk.
