Council to review town's defibrillators
A review of the various defibrillators located around Epping is to be carried out by Epping Town Council before it decides whether to purchase one for the Crows Road-High Street area.
Defibrillators are already located at the Civic Offices, the district council depot, Epping Leisure Centre and St John's Church however councillors are concerned the sites are not open 24 hours a day.
It has been suggested a defibrillator is purchased and kept in the telephone box at the Crows Road-High Road junction but councillors fear that it could be a target for vandalism.
The town council will be looking into the best options.
